Vitagen is supporting the #AnakAnak Malaysia Walk this year as an extension of the brand’s philosophy to promote good gut health to all Malaysians.
The brand is sponsoring 8,500 bottles of Vitagen for the walk’s fifth edition.
It is contributing RM10,000 worth of less-sugar Vitagen, which comes in natural, orange and grape flavours, for the first time.
The #AnakAnakMalaysia Walk celebrates Malaysia’s diversity and promotes unity and understanding among people.

“Studies have shown that in order to maintain overall health, we cannot ignore the balance of good and bad bacteria in our gut microbiota, ” Carol said.
“To-date, Vitagen is the only brand of cultured milk drink in Malaysia that is clinically proven for a better gut based on local landmark research conducted by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre.
“Each bottle of Vitagen contains billions of live probiotic cultures of Lactobacillus acidophilus and Lactobacillus paracasei, recognised by experts in the field to have a positive effect on digestive health and immune system.”
In its efforts to educate Malaysians on gut health, Vitagen launched its Good Gut Health Awareness campaign in collaboration with Digestive Health Malaysia and Nutrition Society of Malaysia in 2016.
The campaign continues to advocate the importance of good gut health and its significance to one’s overall well-being via different on-ground activities.

She said the company was supporting the event as part of its corporate social responsibility and give back to society.
Assorted variants of Vitagen less sugar, certified with the Healthier Choice logo under the Health Ministry, will be available at one of the #AnakAnak Malaysia Walk pit stops.
#AnakAnak Malaysia Walk 2019 is a collaboration between Malaysia’s well-known property developer Eco World Development Group Bhd and Star Media Group.
The main sponsors for the event are Panasonic (silver sponsor) and DRB-HICOM (car sponsor).
Registration fee is RM50 (adult)/ RM20 (child)/ RM120 (family package: two adults, two kids), and RM40 (corporate). Closing date is Aug 28.
The #AnakAnak Malaysia Walk 2019 will be held on Aug 31, starting at 4.30pm at the Eco Ardence Sales Gallery, Persiaran Setia Alam in Setia Alam, Shah Alam.
