Pandian always took care of the welfare of newspaper vendors and encouraged good relations with media companies, especially The Star.

THE passing of P. Pandian, one of the founders of the Perak Indian Newspaper Distributors Association (Pinda), has left a void in the hearts of many.

Pandian, 71, who led Pinda for 21 years, died at his son’s house in Ipoh on Tuesday evening.
