KLANG has been shrouded in dense haze in the past week due to fires in Riau, Indonesia, and the situation has worsened after a fire broke out on a 4.1ha plot of land at the Kuala Langat South Forest Reserve on Thursday.

Fire and Rescue Department Klang District Zone chief Samsol Maarif Saibani said the haze blanketed most parts of Klang earlier in the week.
