Nicko Jeep Manufacture Sdn Bhd marketing manager Andrew Lim said this was the company’s third consecutive year sponsoring the event.
“We are giving out 8,000 packets of the minty-lemon flavoured candies this year.
“Made from genuine Himalayan salt, the candies help improve the body’s hydration and reduce chances of leg cramps.
“The refreshing taste comes from mint and lemon,” he said, adding that it was one of the company’s best-selling products.
The candy comes in a pack of six and sealed in zip-lock packaging, allowing easy storage after opening as well as the convenience of enjoying it on-the-go.
Lim said #AnakAnakMalaysia Walk was a good event for families to bond and it was suitable for all ages.
Himalaya Salt Sports Candy is distributed by Delfi Marketing Sdn Bhd in peninsular Malaysia and KV Distributors Sdn Bhd in Sabah and Sarawak.
National badminton player and Olympic silver medallist Goh Liu Ying is the brand ambassador for the sports candy.
Meanwhile, Lim urged consumers to beware of counterfeit Himalaya Salt Sports Candy, especially those sold through online platforms, and advised customers to buy from established retailers.
