SkyWorld Development Group is teaming up with Maybank Islamic for the Houzkey financing plan that offers flexibility to house buyers.

Buyers of SkyWorld properties can do so at a minimal initial cost with low monthly repayment for the first five years and there is no progressive payment required during the construction period.

Speaking at the official ceremony to mark the collaboration at SkyWorld Property Gallery @ Setapak in Kuala Lumpur, SkyWorld chief operating officer Lee Chee Seng said they were excited about the partnership with Maybank.

“This is an alternative financing solution for easy home ownership and will help many young people to own their dream homes.

“Usually their biggest concern will be the large initial payment and this financing solution allows them to own a SkyWorld home with zero down payment.

“If they decide to buy later, they will get a house at today’s locked-in price,” he said.

Two projects that are available under the scheme are SkyMeridien, Sentul, and Bennington Residence @ SkyArena, Setapak.

Both projects are located near the city centre and surrounded by mature neighbourhoods.

SkyMeridien is 300m from the Sentul Timur LRT Station while Bennington is located next to the multi-storey and multi-facility SkyArena Sports Complex.

“I urge first-time house buyers to seize this opportunity as this financing programme will help ease their financial burden.

“They can stay in SkyMeridien, a RM480,000 unit for only RM1,200 per month for the first two years as opposed to RM1,900 on a regular mortgage monthly instalment.

“The low monthly payments with a gradual increase in the future allow house buyers to have better cash flow,” Lee added.

Representatives from Maybank were also given a tour of SkyWorld Quality Centre.

“In line with the bank’s mission in humanising financial services, it is important for us to continue lending support to Malaysians in their home ownership journey.

“With Houzkey, more people can own homes without the burden of high upfront costs and enjoy better cash flow,” said Maybank Real Estate Ventures managing director Sally Lye.

The Houzkey home financing plan for selected SkyHome projects is running for a limited time with limited units available.
