KUANTAN: Milo Malaysia Breakfast Day 2019 made its stop in Kuantan, drawing 9,000 participants.

The early risers took part in an array of activities, the highlight of which was a 3km fun run.

“Milo Malaysia Breakfast Day is in line with our purpose to create an active and healthy Malaysia.

“We are excited to bring it back to Kuantan for the fourth time as a platform for the folk here to appreciate the importance of a wholesome and balanced breakfast and encourage an active lifestyle through the various physical activities during this event,” said Nestlé Products Sdn Bhd MILO & Milks Business Unit executive director Kumaran Nowuram.

He added that Milo Aktif Negaraku, a movement to encourage Malaysians to lead active lifestyles, was also featured prominently at the event.

In addition to the 3km fun run, participants took part in aerobics, arcade basketball, target football as well as 3 vs 3 futsal tournament.

Kumaran said in a bid to create healthier and happier communities through sustainable solutions, Milo took a step further this year by educating participants on the importance of recycling and its positive impact on the environment.

“We feel it is important for us as a brand to inculcate good practices such as waste separation at source and looking after the environment,” he said.

The next stop in the east coast leg of Milo Malaysia Breakfast Day 2019 is Kota Baru on Saturday before the tour heads to Kota Kinabalu on Aug 4 and Kuching on Aug 25.
