THE damaged stretch of Persiaran Atmosfera in Section U5, Shah Alam, cannot be fixed unless the squatter houses built on the road reserve are removed, Shah Alam mayor Datuk Haris Kasim said.

Persiaran Atmosfera has been partially closed since mid-2017 after it was damaged by erosion which affected about 200m of the stretch. The street provides a vital link to Subang Bestari housing area, a shopping centre and a private university.
