Sharing festive joy at home for children

AIMING to spark happiness and cheer in the hearts of the less fortunate, a team from Smart Reader Worldwide led by executive director Kevan Ong visited Rumah Penyayang Darul Ilmi in Gombak.

In conjunction with recent festive season, the team delivered some contributions to Rumah Penyayang Darul Ilmi, a shelter that houses over 55 orphaned, underprivileged and abandoned children.

The event started with brief greetings and distribution of cookies and cakes to the

children.

Darul Ilmi Malaysia president Wan Razmie bin Wan Othman then welcomed the team with a speech, followed by Ong’s address to the children.

“We are especially passionate about helping underprivileged children. At Smart Reader Worldwide, we understand education forms a vital building block of a child’s life.

“We hope that the contributions we made ill have a positive impact, not only in bringing smiles to their faces today, but also to assist them to succeed in the future,” Ong said.

The children were then entertained by Hari Raya songs, some fun activities and quizzes.

Wan Razmie and the children entertained the team with Hari Raya songs before

ending the visit with a photo session.
