THE scorching sun did not stop several artists from painting the exterior of the Goddess of Mercy Temple (Kuan Yin Temple) in Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling, George Town, Penang.

The artists, who came all the way from Indonesia, were in town to attend an art exhibition in Universiti Sains Malaysia.
