JOHOR BARU: The Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Ministry will continue to ensure the safety and continuity of the country’s food resources through constant development and improvements.

Its Minister Datuk Salahuddin Ayub said the improvements would also involve upgrading of drainage and irrigation systems, especially at two of the nation’s largest padi fields under Muda Agricultural Development Authority (Mada) in Kedah and Kemubu Agricultural Development Authority (Kada) in Kelantan.
