Free glasses for 161 poor pupils

ECO World Foundation’s programme to sponsor eye check-ups and spectacles for pupils in five schools in the Klang Valley culminated in 161 children receiving spectacles.

The programme which began last year is a collaboration between Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital (Thoneh) and its foundation arm – Thoneh Foundation. It aims to raise awareness and reduce avoidable vision problems among primary schoolchildren.
