Next-day delivery for online shoppers

FAST delivery is something online shoppers value most, aside from affordability and convenience.

To better serve its customers, online shopping platform Shopee introduced its Shopee24 Express Delivery (Shopee24) that guarantees next-day delivery if orders are made by 2pm on a working weekday, or their next shipment will be free.

For items bought after 2pm, it will be counted as the next day’s order while orders made after 2pm on a Friday or Saturday, delivery will be made on the first working day of the following week.Currently available within the Klang Valley, the new service applies to items with the Shopee24 tag, which includes over 10,000 items by leading brands such as Nescafe, Dutch Lady, Drypers, Dove, Dettol, Khind and Philips.

Shopee regional managing director Ian Ho said final-mile delivery was a key element in the online purchasing journey.

“We have observed that consumers not only want their online purchases to be delivered in tip-top condition, but there is also increasing demand for faster delivery.

“Hence, we are very excited to introduce the Shopee24 Express Delivery service to address unmet needs for speedy delivery, starting with the Klang Valley and across Malaysia in the near future.

“We believe that our ability to offer express delivery without charging premium prices and cover a huge assortment of products will not only change the way Malaysians shop online, but also impact their lives positively with greater convenience,” he said.
