Finance Minister to deliver keynote address at SME business summit today

THE Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KLSCCCI) is organising the Malaysia SME Business Summit today at JW Marriott Hotel in Kuala Lumpur from 9am to 6pm.

As the Malaysian economy is in the midst of a societal and digital transformation, with a push for industrial growth, technological innovation and entrepreneurship, this summit aims to support ongoing efforts to progress in its digital-focused economic development path.

It provides an opportunity for SMEs to be exposed to the greater market within Malaysia and also a platform for networking.

Guest of honour Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng will be the keynote speaker while The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) cum KLSCCCI president Tan Sri Ter Leong Yap will deliver the welcome speech at the event.

With the theme “Transform, Innovate & Elevate”, topics will span the entire spectrum of SME concerns, including finance blockchain technology, big data, e-commerce industry and retail SMEs in the digital age.

There will be a lucky draw session with prizes such as Samsung smartphones and Hipster sunglasses.

The supporting organisations for the summit are National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia, Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers, Malaysia Retail Chain Association, The National ICT Association of Malaysia, SME Association of Malaysia and SME Corporation Malaysia.
