PLANS are under way to transform the former Seberang Prai Municipal Council headquarters in Jalan Datuk Haji Ahmad Said, Butterworth, into a cultural centre and hotel after years of abandonment.
Council president Datuk Rozali Mohamud said several components were under consideration to be included in the project aimed at revitalising Butterworth old town on the Penang mainland.
