THE newly formed Rotary Club of Alfa Ampang treated 140 needy children to a movie at GSC, 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya and raised RM60,000 from well-wishers to fund its multi- pronged welfare programme as its first charitable effort.
The children were from the Lighthouse Children’s Welfare Association, Stepping Stone Living Centre, D’Reading Room, Yesuvin Mahligal Kajang, and Rumah Kebajikan Kanak Kanak Kepong.
