Mah Sing’s Hari Raya video, ‘Ce Teka Kuih’, where staff take part in a game show to test their knowledge of traditional Malay kuih.

DEVELOPER Mah Sing Group will be hosting open houses at selected sales galleries nationwide.

As part of its “Kaya Raya Bersama #MahSing” celebration, visitors can enjoy exciting activities and performances while home buyers stand a chance to win amazing prizes and benefit from incentives.

In addition, Mah Sing has released its entertaining Hari Raya video titled Ce Teka Kuih.

The video, presented as a game show, follows two teams made up of non-Muslim staff who were tested on their knowledge of traditional kuih raya under the watchful eye of game show host Myo from Oh Chentaku.

The contestants were blindfolded and had to use their sense of touch, smell and taste to guess the name of the kuih.

The losing team was punished in a manner reminiscent of the type doled out by primary school teachers.

Mah Sing founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said, “Hari Raya signifies the end of Ramadan, but it is also a celebration where Malaysians of different faiths and ethnicities gather together over food to rejoice with our Muslim friends.

“This diversity and inclusion that makes Malaysia unique is also reflected in Mah Sing, whereby Muslim colleagues make up over half of the Mah Sing family.

“I’m pleased to celebrate this strength in Mah Sing and wish to invite all Malaysians to our open houses to celebrate and enjoy the spirit of Hari Raya together,“ he said.

Customers who purchase a home from now until June 30 will benefit from a number of incentives, including a minimum 10% discount and stamp duty exemption as well as low down payment.

Home buyers also stand a chance to win up to RM50,000 in a lucky draw.

This year, Mah Sing will also give Muslim home buyers of selected properties an opportunity to win an umrah package.

Visitors can also enjoy a number of activities and performances including traditional Malay dance and music performances, celebrity meet and greet, children and adult art workshops, durian feasts as well as traditional Malay games such as congkak and batu seremban.

There will also be talks at selected projects to guide home buyers on renovating and renting out their purchases.
