THE Fit Malaysia programme this year was executed by staff members of the Youth and Sports Ministry instead of being carried out by a private event management company, said its deputy minister Steven Sim.

He said the move was done to provide opportunity to youths among the government staff in the ministry to prove their capability in organising the annual event.
