JOHOR BARU: Johor Tourism, Women, Family and Community Development Committee chairman Liow Cai Tung has called on the people to play a proactive role when taking care of senior citizens in their respective areas.

She said the discovery of skeletal remains of an elderly woman who lived alone at her flat in Larkin here has highlighted the important role that neighbours play.
