Green school earns good name and cash

PUPILS of a Tamil school, who became so skilled at growing their own chickens, turkeys and vegetables, earned the attention of Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik who approved a RM24,000 allocation for the school.

Dr Maszlee visited SJKT Sungai Ara in Penang and allocated RM20,000 for the school’s activities and RM4,000 for its resource centre.
