ST GEORGE’S Girls School will carry out urban farming at its school compounds after Hari Raya Aidilfitri, thanks to a joint-effort by the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) and the state’s Agriculture Department.

Penang Island City councillor Connie Tan said spices and vegetables harvested from the site would be given to students from poor families in the school.
