More than 3,500 illegal banners destroyed


MELAKA, 14 Mei -- Yang Dipertua Majlis Perbandaran Hang Tuah Jaya (MPHTJ), Mohd Rafee Ibrahim (kiri) melihat iklan haram yang dirampas untuk dilupuskan pada sidang akhbar Taklimat dan Pelupusan Iklan Haram hari ini. HANG Tuah Jaya Municipal Council (MPHTJ) has taken down 3,527 banners of illegal money lending services within its jurisdiction since January.

Its president Mohd Rafee Ibrahim said the banners were taken down to be destroyed in the past five months.
