Sarawak willing to advance RM1bil funds in stages for repairs of dilapidated schools

SIBU: The state government is ready to disburse the RM1bil advance payment in stages to the Federal Government to pay for repairs of dilapidated schools in Sarawak.

Speaking at the state-level Teachers’ Day Celebration in Sri Aman, Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg said he had a discussion with Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik to ascertain ways the programme could be implemented as soon as possible.
