HOTEL Sri Petaling and the Sri Petaling police station distributed 1,200 packets of bubur lambuk to motorists at the south exit to the Kesas Highway, near Endah Parade, Kuala Lumpur.
The programme started with the preparation of bubur lambuk at the Sri Petaling police station with hotel staff and police personnel cooking and packing the porridge together.
Present were Hotel Sri Petaling executive assistant manager Mohd Nizamri Yusof, hotel executive sous chef Ahmad Nizam Saidin and Sri Petaling police branch officer Asst Supt Mohd Nasir Ahmad.
The senior management from both sides also helped to distribute the porridge.
“This CSR programme with the police will help foster closer ties between us,” said Mohd Nizamri.
ASP Mohd Nasir expressed hope that other organisations would organise similar programmes to benefit the community.
