ST NICHOLAS’ Home Penang hopes to build a centre in Batu Kawan for the blind and visually impaired (BVI) on the mainland.

The home’s executive director Doris Teh said they had applied for a piece of land in 2014 and as of December last year, the Penang Development Corporation (PDC) said the application was still under consideration.
