Motorists bear brunt of poor planning

Hundreds of motorists from Elmina township and Kampong Kubu Gajah in Sungai Buloh who use Persiaran Atmosfera U5 to get to Subang Bestari are affected with the partial road closure.

THE closure of part of Persiaran Atmosfera U5 in Shah Alam has made the commute for hundreds of motorists difficult as those coming from Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE) are forced to make a U-turn and weave past schools and housing areas in Subang Bestari.

Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) had closed both stretches of the dual lanes, near the Petaling District Government Office Complex, with concrete blocks in 2017.
