Health carnival with free tests and specs draws big crowd

SOME 3,000 people from the lower-income group thronged Dewan Ng Yam Huat in Bukit Mertajam for free medical tests.

One Hope Charity & Welfare chairman Chua Sui Hau said this year’s health carnival comprised blood examinations to detect 52 illnesses including cancer which is the main killer disease.
