Gearing up for grand Wesak do

SOME 28 floats adorned with flowers to mark the birth, enlightenment and passing of Lord Buddha are expected to take to the streets during the Wesak Day procession in Penang on May 19.

The procession will start from the Malaysian Buddhist Association (MBA) in Burmah Road and pass through Pangkor Road, Kelawei Road, Burmah Lane, Peel Avenue, Macalister Road, Anson Road and Madras Lane before returning to the starting point.
