WITH Hari Raya approaching, Shopee is offering attractive deals and promotions together with its partners.
From houses to cars and motorbikes, the online shopping platform has it all, not forgetting groceries, home appliances, flagship smartphones, beauty products, celebrity fashion labels, tools and accessories and even exclusive dining deals in its “Raya Dengan Shopee” campaign.
Taking place from April 25 to June 6, users can enjoy exciting offers and discounts of up to 80% from the 600 brands on Shopee Mall and 450,000 sellers.
At the campaign launch, Shopee Malaysia business head Zed Li
said the company aimed to help its sellers grow and support the national agenda to empower the B40 lower-income group.
“A housewife managed to earn RM400,000 a year after she started selling baby-related products in 2015,” he revealed.
Li shared that it sold six million fashion items to customers in Sabah and Sarawak last year.
“The telekung (prayer attire) exceeded Apple iPhone sales by over RM3mil during Raya last year while consumers bought enough prayer mats to fill Masjid Negara two times over last year.
“We sold more than 700km of bubble wrap, enough to stretch from Johor Baru to Perlis.”
Shopee Malaysia marketing lead Marianne Chuo said there was something for everyone.
“You will be able to get anything and everything with Shopee being your Raya one-stop-shop – your next house, vehicle, outfit, meal and others,” she said at the launch in APW Bangsar.
Chuo added that Shopee was upsizing the campaign by offering 200% cashback every Monday.
Highlights include Shocking Sale daily with deals from as low as RM1 with an increased frequency of eight times on Wednesday while Goyang Shopee rewards users with Shopee coins, vouchers and gifts worth up to RM5mil such as Xiaomi phones, robotic vacuums and cameras with more chances on Fridays.
In addition, there will be Shopee Live, a live streaming platform for a more interactive and entertaining shopping experience.
Shopee Live takes place on weekdays, from 8.30pm to 9.30pm, featuring local influencers and celebrities.
Shopee Quiz on weekdays at noon requires visitors to answer eight trivia questions. Winners will win from a pool of up to two million Shopee coins each session.
“We also have Shopee Celebrity Squad where we have over 30 celebrities selling their own products,” she said.
The celebrities include songstress Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin, Datin Fouziah Gous, Ifa Raziah and Fynn Jamal.
Besides that, Chuo said Shopee had partnered with property developer S P Setia, offering rebates for the purchase of new homes.
With prices starting from RM262,000 onwards, it offers ready-to-shift-in apartments as well as double-storey terrace and superlink houses on Shopee.
Customers just need to pay a booking fee of RM688 for their preferred property before heading to the sales gallery to complete the purchase. They can be assured that the units booked will be reserved under their names.
The first eight customers who successfully purchase a house on S P Setia’s official store on Shopee stand to receive rebates of up to 25% and Shopee vouchers worth RM3,888, as well as a home kit worth RM5,000.
“You can now book vehicles from Shopee AutoMall, including BMW, Toyota, Honda, Ford, Hyundai, Mazda and Mitsubishi cars and even motorbikes,” said Chuo.
Users will enjoy unique deals exclusive to Shopee, including booking fees from as low as RM1, lower interest rates starting from 1.81% per annum, rebates, freebies and extra accessories as well as up to 29% discount on bikes.
There will also be food and beverage offers, including attractive buffet prices during the fasting month as well as discounts from outlets such as Kenny Rogers and The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.
