TWO restaurants, including a famous wantan mee outlet in Penang, were shut down due to poor hygiene in an operation carried out by the Health Department and other agencies.

The operation headed by state Health Department director Datuk Dr Wan Mansor Hamzah checked restaurants, hawker stalls and construction sites in various areas around George Town.
