WITH the simple aim of carrying out social work among the rural folk in Kampung Bakar Kapor in Kepala Batas on the Penang mainland, a group of youths came together to start the Bakar Kapor Youth Society five years ago.

Now, they are in the midst of building their own social innovation centre, where youths could enjoy playing indoor games and take part in various youth-themed events.
