ASET Kayamas Sdn Bhd, the developer of Residensi Jalilmas, contributed an apartment to national bodybuilder Mohd Syarul Azman Mahen Abdullah, better known as Mike Mahen.

The apartment in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, was presented as a gesture of corporate social responsibility to Mike in recognition of the three-time bodybuilding world champion’s achievements and contributions to the nation.

Aset Kayamas chairman Tan Sri Chai Kin Kong and group general manager Datuk CK Lee presented Mike Mahen with the key to his apartment during a ceremony witnessed by Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad as well as Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.

Mike Mahen, 45, received a fully furnished and renovated apartment worth RM228,000.

The 74.3 sq m (800 sq ft) unit comes with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and one covered carpark.

Residensi Jalilmas is one of the projects built by Aset Kayamas under the Residensi Wilayah affordable housing scheme.

Khalid had last month witnessed the key handover ceremony to 1,050 buyers.

With the contribution, Chai expressed hope that Mike Mahen would continue performing well and win more championships on the world stage.

Under the affordable housing scheme, Aset Kayamas has handed the keys to buyers of some 4,200 units located in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, including Residensi Razakmas, Residensi Gurneymas, Residensi Pandanmas, Residensi Sentulmas and Residensi Puchongmas.

In addition, 1,955 units at two locations are expected to be completed by this year.

The apartments at Residensi Kepongmas and Residensi Wangsamas will be sold for RM198,000 each.
