JOHOR BARU: The Gemas-Johor Baru electric double-tracking rail project is ahead of schedule and is expected to be completed by October 2021, said Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook.

Loke said about 37% of the RM8.9bil project spanning 192km had been completed so far.
