THE 500m newly launched extension in Jalan 1/27A connecting to Jalan Mohd Yatim Yahaya, Wangsa Maju, is expected to reduce congestion in the surrounding areas by about 10%.

The shortcut will serve as an alternative route for motorists in Wangsa Maju to head to Setiawangsa and Jalan Genting Kelang, without having to go through the loop via Jalan 2/27A, Jalan Kilang, Jalan 34/26 and Jalan 6/27A.
