New incentives planned to help B40 group

THE state government is committed to introducing new incentives to help reduce the cost of living, says Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu. He said despite facing financial constraints, the state government would continue efforts to help the needy.“Thus, emphasis will be given to ensure that all efforts provide direct impact to the target groups without looking at race and religion.

“But at the same time, the state government is also committed to ensuring that the B40 target groups are independent and able to enjoy a better life in the long run,” he said in a reply to a question from Datuk Sham Mat Sahat (BN-Alor Pongsu) at the state assembly sitting yesterday.
