Unpaid funerary costs issue put to rest

THE agent who allegedly left the country without settling the funerary costs for a hawker’s late father has paid the family.

During a press conference held at Wisma MCA Perak in Ipoh on Thursday, Perak MCA Public Services and Complaints Bureau chief Low Guo Nan said the agent, known as Ho, had sent the money to her friend in Ipoh to obtain a bank draft to be paid to Lee Kam Ling to settle the matter.
