THE state-level International Women’s Day celebrations ended on a very satisfactory note with more than 5,300 people taking part in the 31 events held at various places all over Penang.

Penang Women, Family Development and Gender Inclusiveness Committee chairman Chong Eng said the event was held for one month with the support from various organisations.
