Proposal to set up body to combat pollution

JOHOR BARU: The state government is urged to set up Johor Environment Corporation (JEC) that will be responsible for monitoring and handling scheduled chemical waste disposal in Johor.

Permas assemblyman Datuk Seri Che Zakaria Mohd Salleh said the proposal had also been brought up to the attention of Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Osman Sapian.
