Public votes for safety features in backlanes

STREET lightings and closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras topped the list of public amenities that should be installed in two backlanes in George Town.

This was revealed during a public engagement session at Penang Youth Centre in Lebuh Acheh, Penang, on ways to spruce up the backlanes of Armenian Street-Ah Quee Street and also the Church Street-Penang Street.
