Seniors start receiving aid


Residents in some areas will receive their aid on April 6 and 7, says Phee.

THE first phase of Penang’s Senior Citizens Appreciation Programme 2019 is rolling out for 180,070 recipients who will receive RM130 each.

State Welfare and Caring Society Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh said cash payments to 147,726 recipients at various Maybank branches started on March 30 and 31, and will continue on April 13 and 14 from 10am to 3pm.
