MIRI: With the number of forest fires in the state increasing, the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department has urged voluntary fire-fighting units at the kampung and longhouse levels to help fight wildfires in their vicinity.

In an advisory, the department wants community groups to play their role in helping them battle the wildfires.
