SOUTH-EAST Asia including Malaysia, which is located at a crucial maritime and cultural crossroad, has long been part of a global system.

Often referred to as Maritime South-East Asia, the region of Nusantaria encompasses a huge area stretching from Malaysia to Vietnam, and from Indonesia to the Philippines.
