JOHOR BARU: Primary and secondary schools in Johor Baru and Pasir Gudang are facing a shortage of teachers due to an increase in student enrolments in both districts.
State Education Department deputy director Azman Adnan said Johor needs about 600 new teachers yearly for the schools but it was hard to fill up the positions.
