Selangor Environment Dept increasing checks – including use of drones – to prevent open burning


SHAH ALAM: The Selangor Environment Department has been extending its monitoring and patrolling up to 11pm daily in efforts to prevent open burning.

"They have also been using drone for some of the monitoring works," said State Environment, Green Technology and Consumer Affairs, Science, Technology and Environment Exco, Hee Loy Sian said this during a press conference at the Selangor State Assembly on Wednesday (March 20).
