MITSUI Outlet Park KLIA Sepang (MOP KLIA), Japan’s branded factory outlet shopping mall, hosted a prize-giving ceremony for its grand prize winners to conclude its “Spend & Win a Car” and “Catch & Win” contests.

The prize-giving ceremony saw Spend & Win A Car contest grand prize winner Camiea Ng Kee, 56, drive home a brand-new six-seater Toyota Avanza worth RM86,000 while Catch & Win winner Noraseekin Mat Nor, 43, rode off with a Vespa worth RM12,000.

The contests, held in conjunction with the festive seasons, encouraged visitors to shop from a myriad of branded lifestyle stores including those in fashion and beauty, household products and food items with attractive rewards and discounts up to 90%.

Shoppers who spent a minimum of RM300 in a maximum of two receipts were eligible to join the contests which also offered over 10,000 prizes including iPhone XR, iPad, Gintell massage chairs and MOP KLIA Shopping vouchers.

MFMA Development operations general manager Frankie Lee expressed his gratitude to all customers for making the contests successful, particularly the Spend & Win A Car contest, which attracted over 8,000 participants.

He hoped future contests organised by MOP KLIA would attract more visitors to the mall.

Ng from Bukit Jalil said, “My husband and I never expected to win the grand prize, so I was overjoyed when I was announced the winner.”

Ng was grateful as she had previously planned to purchase a six-seater car for her daughter, who is obtaining her driving licence.

Meanwhile, Noraseekin from Petaling Jaya, said, “It was my daughter’s suggestion to visit MOP KLIA as I needed to get new luggage. There were no expectations when I entered the contest so when I broke the news to my family members, they were truly excited,” said Noraseekin.

MOP KLIA is located eight minutes away from KLIA and approximately 45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur city centre.
