Ready with reusable bags to avoid 20sen charge

SUPERMARKET customers in Kuala Lumpur are adapting well to the 20sen pollution charge to use biodegradable plastic bags by bringing their own shopping bags.

The Federal Territories Ministry had announced that beginnig March 15, all retailers, traders and hawkers in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan are now allowed to charge the fee.
