PASIR GUDANG: Johor government is defending actions taken in dealing with the chemical waste found dumped along Sungai Kim Kim here.
The chemicals, believed to contain heavy metal used to dissolve metal at a scrapyard and a chemical factory in Kulai, were discharged into the river about a week ago, leading to hundreds being treated for exposure to hazardous fumes.
