THE different sides of a woman should be recognised and honoured.

Scentales’ International Woman’s Day Special Edition flower bouquet does just that, reminding women to “be yourself” as everyone is beautiful in their own way.

Named as the Be-you-tiful Flower Bouquet, it is made up of different flowers such as imported roses, carnations, tulips, Eustoma, Scabious, Chrysanthemum Blooms Ping Pong and Matthiola.

Scentales founder and chief executive officer Sharon Lam said the limited-edition flower bouquet is in line with one of the brand’s values – embracing diversity.

“We want to break the stereotype that society has placed on women, so instead of using pink flowers, we use a multi-coloured bouquet to celebrate the diversity and different sides of women.

“We also embrace the differences in our diverse employees and encourage them to freely express themselves.

“Star Media Group’s WOW – Women Do Wonders campaign supports a label-free society for the woman and it goes in line with our brand’s value,” she said.

The company is sponsoring 200 pieces of RM10 vouchers and 200 pieces of Rose Petite, a stalk of decorated rose (RM35 each) for the Star WOW Fiesta 2019, a two-day event on March 16 and 17 celebrating women in conjunction with International Women’s Day.

Established in 2016 at Empire Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Scentales aims to bring creativity into the floral industry.

“We want to create something exciting and trendy using original flower products and at the same time, be affordable and accessible to the mass audience.

“Our tag line is express yourself with Scentales, so every bouquet has a story to tell.

“For example, flowers placed in a corgi-drawn-gift box might symbolise the personality of the receiver, who, just like a corgi, would feel happy when they see food.

“It’s kind of cheeky and a creative way to impress the customer,” she said.
