PARTICIPANTS in the upcoming Star Health Fun Run 2019 will be enjoying unsweetened teas from popular Japanese brand Ito En.

“The drinks are made with authentic green tea leaves and are totally unsweetened,” said Deliqo Asia director Alan Goh.

“It is apt for us to sponsor this health run because we are looking at health-conscious participants with active lifestyle.

Deliqo Asia who is the authorised contributor of Ito En drinks in Malaysia will be sponsoring a total 2,500 bottles of Oi Ocha Unsweetened Green Tea and Unsweetened Jasmine Green Tea for the run on Sunday.

“With our unsweetened drinks, we can provide an option of healthy beverage for the runners,” said Goh.

“Ito En understands the growing demand of South-East Asian market and has taken steps to create the products out of Japan in order to cater for the tea lovers in the region,” he added.

Goh also said the company will be introducing Barley Tea, the only caffeine-free drink under the Ito En brand to Malaysians this month.
