TGV Cinemas is offering an awesome idea for a girls’ night out this International Women’s Day.

The cinema chain is giving away passes to a screening of Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel slated for March 8, 8pm at all TGV Cinemas nationwide.

Redemptions for the ladies-only event are available from 10am to 7pm at TGV ticket counters on the same day, while stocks last.

“I feel incredibly grateful at the opportunity for us to be a part of this conversation.

“In 2019, you will see more socially-driven acts by TGV Cinemas, this is something that we are immensely proud to be at the forefront of in the cinema exhibitor space,” said brand and communications head Yen Ong.

On the same day at 8pm, TGV 1 Utama will also be hosting a private event with some popular Malaysian women who will share their inspiring journeys.

The session will be moderated by Deborah Henry (founder of Fugee School/Miss Universe 2011), with Cheong Jun Hoong (Malaysia’s first world diving champion), Xandria Ooi (Happiness ambassador/writer) and Fam Li Ying (Teach for Malaysia partnership development manager) joining her on the panel.

The event also aims to bring together a crowd to share their journeys of empowerment and success.

This is in line with TGV Cinemas’ aim to deliver more than just movies.

From sports to music, sing-along events and live comedy shows, TGV has offered a wide variety of content for the whole family.

This year, more activities are in the pipeline to fit everyone’s entertainment needs.
