PUCHONG was lit with colours and the sound of Indian drums during the recent Ponggal Cultural Festival organised by the Selangor state government.

The event saw some 3,000 guests from all over Selangor enjoying cultural performances, including traditional and modern Indian dance forms, the Tamil martial art silambam as well as the traditional music called urumi melam.
